Inspired by our Great (Great Great) Grandmother,

trying to escape her complications with the law changed her name, her town, her life.

She tried to earn an honest living. But times were tough, and fate is cruel.

After the death of her husband she lost not only her way, but her right eye at the hands of a drunken police officer.

With no options left, and 4 mouths to feed, she was forced into prostitution, becoming known as the Moll of Mulbring.

In constant pain and driven to drink she was once again distilling her own gin, providing bottomless carafes to her callers, inducing states of intoxication and stealing everything they had.

Police visits were frequent. Sometimes to question her, other times to ‘question’ her.

They never found the ill-gotten goods or the liters of illegally distilled gin storied in stolen whiskey barrels under the floorboards of the old family homestead.

They always came with accusations. They always left empty-handed. But they never left disappointed.

Leaden Hearts Rare Oak Barrel Aged Gin takes her original recipe & delivers it just as she did to the men she entertained.

Stored for 3 months in whiskey barrels on the same land she lived & died,

this gin is as one of a kind as the woman who inspired it.
